The Way: art and empathy

December 7, 2011It was raining today, and I was still nursing a bit of a cold.  Jamie left alone on the long drive to Ottawa.  I was supposed to go, but decided against it.  There were things to do, things I should have done, but I read a review of the new movie with Martin Sheen, and decided I needed to see it.  I don't know why exactly, maybe I was seeking an antidote to Shame, which was the last movie I saw (if you saw it, you know what I'm talking about).  So off to The Way I went.  It's a…See More

Oh What A Night!!

Oh What a Night! It would be an understatement to say I was nervous; I had tons of little nervous butterflies and they were out in force.  We had worked collaboratively as a company for over three months on our project, HOME/FRONT, which we were about to show to an audience for the first time. During our time together we worked on introducing, learning and appropriating the Insight Approach to conflict transformation and peace building.  We reached out to the veteran community in NYC and had…See More

This is really exciting to have this site up and ready to go. A huge thank you goes out to Kierra, our TE'A wonder woman!!
We will be posting 4 to 5 questions in the next few days right here on the TE'A community site. Please take some time and comment on them! We will be using them to help shape a new scene for Under the Veil, which we will be touring around the region in November.
thank you!
