The TE'A Company of NYC represents the pilot TE'A Project. This first installment of The TE'A Project led to the creation of "Under the Veil: Being Muslim (and Non-Muslim) in NYC, post 9/11". This play will be doing an extended run in Fall 2009.

Comment by Christian De Gré on December 17, 2009 at 1:35pm: Saw a documentary this morning on the History Channel about the rise of Fundamental Islam in Afghanistan. It would seem that the Soviet Union fell in large part because of its 10 year exhausting war in Afghanistan that the Soviets called a war against the
'undying zealous and misguided enemy.' Here is my question to you all, do you think we are following in the same steps as the USSR with our own now 8 year struggle there? And if so could this war lead to our own 'demise'?
